Aragon wins Morningside's first GPAC Wrestler of the Week of season

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Freshman Chris Aragon earned his first GPAC Wrestler of the Week honor for his performance against Northwestern last week.

Aragon is from Creston, Iowa and pinned his opponent in 1:11 for six points in Morningside's 40-11 victory over the Red Raiders Wednesday. This is Morningside's first wrestler of the week for the 2023-24 year. 

Morningside is at the Missouri Valley Invite Friday and Saturday. Part of the team will also be headed to the Minnesota West Open Saturday.
