Alves, Anderson receive all-conference recognition

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – The Heart of America Conference unveiled its 2025 Men's Volleyball All-Conference teams today, following the completion of regular season play. Morningside, in its first year in what is arguably one of the most elite men's volleyball leagues in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, had two honorees in the release.

Natan Alves, a junior from Vila Velha, Brazil, received second team honors. Alves averaged 3.28 kills per set this season, hitting .229 with 223 kills in 22 matches. 

Owen Anderson, a senior from South Beloit, Ill., received honorable mention recognition. Anderson averaged 2.32 digs per set, with 202 digs in 26 matches.
