Baynes does it all to win GPAC Defender of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Mustangs picked up a conference sweep in Kansas over the weekend, and Isaiah Baynes earned GPAC Defender of the Week honors for his performance in those two matches.

Baynes is a junior from Mankato, Minn. who totaled 17 digs in a five set, reverse sweep of Kansas Wesleyan. He added two blocks at the net and 14 kills offensively in the win. He totaled 20 digs and just one reception error on 62 attempts for the week. 

The Mustangs conclude their regular season on the road Thursday at Jamestown and Saturday at Dordt.
