Five land on CSC All-District team for men's cross country, track and field

GREENWOOD, IND. – College Sports Communicators announced its Men's Track and Field and Cross Country Academic All-District Team for 2023, including five Morningsiders. All-district honorees will move ahead for consideration for the Men's Track and Field and Cross Country CSC Academic All-America Teams. 

All-district honorees for the Mustangs are Adam Fillipi, Austin Freiberg, Jonah Gleason, Jared Nicholas, and Mason Welker.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success on the field and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and participate in at least 50 percent of games played in a season.
