5 Mustangs set personal records at Buena Vista

STORM LAKE, IOWA – It was a day of personal bests for The Mustangs as five new individual marks were set at this year's Dennis Young Indoor Classic.

Theo Moseman set a new personal record as he took the top spot in the 400-meter run in 51.05 seconds. RC Hicks took second in the mile run, with a PR of 4:40.34. Boston Riedemann's personal best was a time of 9.04 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, good for third. Austin Ramold and Jose Lopez both recorded personal records in the 800-meter run, where Ramold recorded a 2:51.05 for fourth and Lopez placed 12th in 2:56.51.

Freshmen Lane Kruger and Aidan Long have continued to show growth in their rookie seasons, as Kruger picked up a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash in 7.12 seconds and Long took the no. 5 spot in the mile run in 5:10.48.

The Mustangs head to Dakota Wesleyan next weekend, competing on February 1 in Mitchell, S.D. at the site of the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.
