Trenkle takes GPAC Player of the Week honors after perfect week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Morningside University men's tennis senior Mark Trenkle was named Wednesday as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Trenkle won all his matches over the last week, winning in singles and doubles against Northwestern and Doane. The Mustangs went 2-0 against the Red Raiders and Tigers. Overall on the season, Trenkle is 18-8 in singles play.
