Haase, Mkhize earn scholar-athlete distinction

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for men's swimming, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Men's Swim and Dive Championships in Columbus, Ga.

Morningside had a pair of athletes on this year's list, sophomores Jacob Haase and MK Mkhize.

In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
