Sickenberger named Academic All-American

GREENWOOD, IND. – Morningside men's soccer received another individual player accolade today as College Sports Communicators revealed its 2024 Academic All-America teams, naming Max Sickenberger to its first team.

Sickenberger, from Grosswallstadt, Germany, received a first team selection. The senior is one of 11 athletes to receive First Team Academic All-America honors, selected from a field of 175 Academic All-District honorees.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success on the court and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and participate in at least 70 percent of total matches that include team scores.
