Men's soccer places 25 on NAIA scholar-athlete list

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for men's soccer, releasing this year's list ahead alongside the other fall sports.

Morningside had 25 athletes named to this year's list, Bernardo Barbosa, Niklas Gruener, Mario Damiani, Mathias Constantinou, Jordan Bickel, Antonio Araujo, Issa Aman, Gustavo Dos Santos, Bennet Wesselkaemper, Levi Von Hagen, Yannik Vogel, Jurre Thielen, Tony Spina, Max Sickenberger, Oskar Schoof, Diego Ocando, Geb Mekonnen, Matheus Lacerda, Tassilo Koerner, Timon Koerber, Kenan Kodal, Tim Kobbenbring, Niklas Kneller, Enzo Kerekes, and Maron Guimaraes

In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
