SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Despite being down early, that didn't faze the Morningside University men's soccer team.

The Mustangs (10-5-2, 7-1-2 GPAC) responded with two second-half goals to clinch the Great Plains Athletic Conference regular season championship in a 2-1 win over Dakota Wesleyan.

Gustavo Dos Santos tied the match at the 52-minute, 40-second mark, with an assist by Jordan Bickel.

With 3:52 remaining in the match, Mathias Constantinou scored the go-ahead goal that clinched the conference title for the Mustangs. Niklas Kneller had the assist for Constantinou's goal.

Morningside took 25 shots, while it held the Tigers to six. Timon Koerber earned the win in net, saving one shot on goal.
