PAPILLION, NEB. – A final-minute goal allowed the no. 7 Bellevue Bruins to add another game to Morningside's losses column as the Mustangs fell 2-1 at Papillion Landing's soccer complex.
Max Sickenberger answered a second-half Bellevue goal with an equalizer in the 73rd minute of the contest, connecting with the back of the net on an assist from Niklas Kneller.
Morningside's Tim Teschner took the loss in the goal, saving five shots on goal in the contest.
The Mustangs are back in action on September 18, when they head to Hastings, Neb. for a Great Plains Athletic Conference contest against the Hastings Broncos.
