Vogel, Dos Santos Score in Win over KWU

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After two tough losses, the Morningside University men's soccer team on Saturday earned a 2-0 win over Kansas Wesleyan.

Yannik Vogel scored an unassisted goal in the 33rd minute to get the Mustangs on the board. He took five shots on Saturday, two on goal.

The second goal came from Gustavo Dos Santos. Jordan Bickel and Vogel had the assists on Dos Santos' second goal of the season.

Morningside out shot the Coyotes 19-3. The Mustangs had 12 alone in the second half. They also took six corner shots.

Tim Teschner earned his first win as goalkeeper, stopping the only shot on goal KWU took.
