Mustangs finish eighth in Missouri

CAMDENTON, MO. – Morningside's men's golf team placed eighth as they opened the week in Missouri, competing in The Verhille Invitational at The Club at Old Kinderhook. The Mustangs shot a two-day total of 621 in the event, 26 strokes out of first place.

Finn Coull and Ryan Cavanaugh co-led Morningside, tying for 15th with matching totals of 152 strokes. Ariel Lev climbed 10 places from day 1 to day 2, finishing 25th with 155 strokes. Brock Lutterman finished 60th, shooting a 162.

The Mustangs' schedule brings them back to Sioux City next week, competing in the Briar Cliff Match Play Invitational on March 27 and 28 at Green Valley Golf Club.
