Men's bowling falls in consolation bracket of NAIA qualifier

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – Morningside's men's bowling team competed in the 2024 NAIA Bowling National Qualifying Tournament, competing in a field consisting of Great Plains Athletic Conference, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, and American Midwest Conference. 

Following Saturday's 20 baker games, the Mustangs tallied 3,083 pins to rank no. 8 in the nine-team field. The ranking set Morningside up for a match with Saint Mary, which the Mustangs won three games to one.

Morningside moved on to face top-seeded Midland, where the Mustangs fell 3-2 to match up with William Woods. Morningside topped the Owls 3-1, before falling to Missouri Baptist in the consolation bracket.
