
13 Mustangs named men's basketball Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for men's basketball, releasing this year's list alongside the other winter sports.
Morningside had 13 athletes named to this year's men's basketball list, Alex Aguirre, Brayden Dinkla, Brendan Buckley, Cade Johnson, Charlie Fletcher, Daniel Brocaille, Dylan Johnson, Ethan Alfers, Noa Phillips, Tate Vanregenmorter, Taylan Vetrovsky, Theron Coleman, and Trey Richert.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
