Skoff receives GPAC Offensive Player of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — For the fourth time this season, Joey Skoff was named the Offensive Player of the Week in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Skoff dropped 29 points in last Wednesday's 106-89 win over Northwestern, marking his highest-scoring game since the start of 2025. He made 11 of 17 shots in the win over the Red Raiders, and he made five free throws.

Skoff has scored in double figures in every game this season, averaging 22.6 points per game (eighth in NAIA). He's shooting 55 percent from the floor, and 78 percent from the line.

The senior from Omaha has 2,064 career points — a Morningside record — heading into Wednesday's home game against Dordt. The Mustangs are at Mount Marty on Saturday.
