Sitti named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – 'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the conference, not a team was stirring, not a ball would bounce. Following a week of play so gritty, defensive player of the week the GPAC did name Justin Sitti.

In a pair of games both played on the road, Sitti did carry a defensive load. With 13 rebounds and a trio of steals, opposing players knew his defense was real.

When on offense, Sitti moved like a flash, sending 56 percent of his shots through the net with a splash. Moving along on the court so quick, the senior from Omaha handed the ball around like Morningside's version of Saint Nick. 

As the Mustangs on December 29 head to Bellevue to play, they wish you all a happy Christmas Day!
