SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- The Morningside University men's basketball team found itself on the wrong end of an 82-79 loss Wednesday against Briar Cliff on the road.
Morningside led 45-33 at the half, but BCU held Morningside to 41 percent shooting during the second half.
Joey Skoff led the Mustangs with 21 points, while Caleb Dreckman scored 15 and Aidan Vanderloo 13. Daniel Brocaille had 14 points off the bench.
Justin Sitti led with nine rebounds.
Morningside made 13 of 17 free throws.
