
Skoff recognized as GPAC Player of the Week
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – For the second week in a row, Joey Skoff received a league weekly honor.
On Wednesday, Skoff was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Skoff scored two 30-point games over the weekend, as the senior from Bellevue East High School (Neb.) posted 30 on Friday and 34 on Saturday.
During Friday's 120-92 win over Governors State, Skoff was 11-for-17 and made all five of his free throws. He also made a season-high three 3-pointers.
On Saturday in the 92-86 win over No. 24-ranked Kansas Wesleyan, Skoff was 11-for-16 and made 11 of 12 free throws. He also had eight rebounds and eight steals.
Skoff has averaged 28.0 points per game so far this season, good for third in the NAIA.
Skoff is shooting 62.5 percent from the floor, and he's 24-for-25 from the stripe.
