DUBUQUE, IOWA – The Mustangs opened the season with a resounding win over National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Coe College, trouncing the Kohawks 98-64 at Clarke University.
Daniel Brocaille led Morningside in scoring, coming off the bench to record 24 points. Joey Skoff followed with 20 points, Aidan Vanderloo added 14, and Caleb Dreckman notched 10.
Brendan Buckley tallied 11 rebounds to lead the Mustangs on the boards, with Justin Sitti following with six rebounds.
Morningside is back on the court tomorrow with a 1 p.m. contest against Viterbo, rounding out the Mustangs' stay at the Clarke Classic.
