Doble picks up GPAC Player of the Week nod

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Senior center Ely Doble picked up his first GPAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week award for the 2023-24 season, announced by the conference Monday.

Doble is from Gretna, Nebraska and he shined in a pair of games over the last week. Doble averaged 33 points and nine rebounds, while shooting 75.7% from the floor. He scored a career-high 37 points as a part of a 37-point, 13-rebound double-double Sunday against Doane. 

The No. 17 Mustangs play host to No. 13 Northwestern Wednesday (tomorrow) at 7:45 p.m. inside Allee Gymnasium and the Rosen Verdoorn Sports Center.
