Pingel named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Morningside University senior Isaac Pingel was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, by the league on Monday.

Pingel led the Mustangs' defense with 10 total tackles, including six solo. The senior from Spencer, Iowa, also had a sack and broke up four passes.

On the season, Pingel has 56 total tackles, two sacks and four tackles for loss.
