Two Mustangs claim Player of the Week honors

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – For the second time this season, the Mustangs have two GPAC Player of the Week award winners in the same week.

Cash Parker, a freshman from Blue Springs, Missouri, won the Offensive Player of the Week. Bryson Wilke, a freshman from Suprise, Arizona, won the Special Teams Player of the Week. 

Parker spearheaded the offensive charge in a 62-6 win over Concordia Saturday. He threw for 287 yards and four touchdowns while completing 20-of-27 passes. He didn't throw an interception and had a quarterback efficiency rating of 211.3. 

Wilke was perfect Saturday, converting 8-of-8 extra points and making field goals of 31 and 40 yards. 

The Mustangs hit the road this week to take on Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, South Dakota. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
