Top of the Charts - Jurgensmeier earns third CoSIDA academic honor

Morningside University senior football student-athlete Reid Jurgensmeier (Wahoo, Neb.) was named a first team Academic All-American by CoSIDA (Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America) Friday, Dec. 17.

Jurgensmeier, a three-time first team honoree who also received the accolade in 2019 and 2020, is a business administration major with a 3.92 grade-point average. He joined Olivet Nazarene University of Illinois' Patryk Ryczek on the 2021 team in being a three-time first team Academic All-American.
