Three Mustangs named to baseball Academic All-District team

GREENWOOD, IND. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District Team for baseball today, placing three Mustangs on the squad.

Morningside is represented on the Academic All-District list by Eddie Brancato, Cade Nolan, and Jayson Willers. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the All-America teams announced on July 2, 2024.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success on the field and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and participate in at least 90 percent of the team's contests played or make 17 pitching appearances or pitch 25 innings throughout the season. 

College Sports Communicators, formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors Association, is a group of 3,200+ strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.
