Baseball places nine on NAIA Scholar-Athlete list

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for baseball, releasing this year's list ahead of the 2024 NAIA Baseball World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.

Morningside had nine players named to this year's list, Dylan Ades, Eddie Brancato, Joe Harris, Gunnar Kale, Zach Koelfgen, Cade Nolan, Tanner Vercellino, Logan Warkentin, and Jayson Willers

In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
