Five Mustangs on Baseball Academic All-District list

GREENWOOD, IND. – College Sports Communicators announced its Baseball Academic All-District Team for 2023, including five Morningside baseball players. All-district honorees will move ahead for consideration for the CSC Academic All-America Teams.

All-district honorees for the Mustangs are Eddie Brancato, Zach Hefty, Jackson Stephen, Joe Harris, and Wade Canaday.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success on the field and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and participate in at least 50 percent of games played in a season.
