Canaday named GPAC pitcher of the week

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Mustangs picked up their first baseball player of the week honor, as the Great Plains Athletic Conference named Wade Canaday this week's pitcher of the week.

Canaday went 2-0 in this week's appearances, striking out 17 batters, throwing 11.2 innings with a complete game against Doane. He posted an ERA of 3.09, scattering 11 hits across the pair of games, and also collected a pair of assists while fielding 1.000.

Canaday is a junior from Marshalltown, Iowa.
