Bio

Katy Burford joined the Mustang Athletic Training staff in the Spring of 2015. Originally from Minden, Iowa, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Missouri Valley College in May 2009. Then received a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Wayne State College in the Summer of 2011.

Katy was a graduate assistant with CNOS from August 2009 until May 2011 covering Morningside. Katy went on to be a clinical athletic trainer with PTSC in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was Head Athletic Trainer at Hastings College from July 2012 until March 2015.
