SIOUX CITY, Iowa — This week, the Morningside University men’s tennis team is climbing one more rung on the ladder.
TEMPE, ARIZ. – On the eve of the opening day of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Men’s Tennis National Championship, The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has revealed its regional award winners for the NAIA level. The collegiate tennis governing body named Alexis Diaz the winner of the ITA Player to Watch and Alex Struck the ITA Coach of the Year for the central region.
TEMPE, ARIZ. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association revealed its regional award winners for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics level today, naming Line Jensen the winner of the ITA Most Improved Player award for the central region.
When the Mustangs travel down to Oklahoma City this week for the NAIA Opening Round of the national tournament, they won’t be intimidated by the competition. The Mustangs’ first national tournament game since 2021 will be at 1 p.m. Monday against Houston-Victoria.
