SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside took the floor for its penultimate home game of the season, squaring off with Dordt in Heart of America Conference action with one final home match on the distant horizon. The Mustangs, who picked up a 3-1 win at Dordt earlier this year, fell to the Defenders in a tight match, 26-24, 28-26, and 25-22.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Great Plains Athletic Conference formally announced its all-conference teams for dance today, reiterating the awards that were announced at the GPAC Championship last Friday in Seward, Neb. Four Mustangs earned honors, submitting a recorded audition to a panel of judges.
Secora in an eight-game span went 5-for-11 with three home runs and seven RBIs. She also had a double and walked once.
SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside's cheer team hit a pair of routines that set new season-best scores, posting an 83.57 in prelims and an 83.95 in the final round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference Competitive Cheer Championship, resulting in a total score of 83.85 to place third.
GULF SHORES, Ala. — The Morningside University softball team fell in both contests on Saturday as part of the Gulf Coast Invitational. The Mustangs lost 4-1 to Texas A&M Texarkana, then 7-1 to Southeastern.
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – A doubles win gave Morningside an early advantage in its women’s tennis finale in South Carolina, but a sweep of singles play gave Division IILake Superior state the win, 6-1.
