2025 Winter Baseball Camps

 Youth Skills Camp

  • Saturday January 11, 2025 at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center
  • Check In: 8:15 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Camp: 8:45 a.m.-Noon
  • Grades 2-8
  • $70 (plus processing fees)

Our youth skills camp is designed around teaching fundamental baseball skills (Hitting, Throwing, Defense) through fun, interactive drills and competitions.

Campers will be split into age-appropriate groups and will work with current Morningside coaches and players.

Campers will receive a Morningside Baseball camp t-shirt.

High School Prospect Camp

  • Saturday January 11, 2025 at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center
  • Check In: 12:30 p.m.-1 p.m. Camp: 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Grades 8-12
  • $75 (plus processing fees)

Our high school prospect camp will include both traditional showcase format and individual instruction at your position from Morningside coaches and players.

We will have sprint times, hitting evaluations, position specific evaluations, and bullpens.

Prospects will receive a Morningside Baseball t-shirt. Lunch will not be provided.

Siouxland Expo Center - MidAmerican Arena & Great Southern Bank Field

Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center

Morningside leverages the close proximity of the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center to partner to provide additional indoor facilities for many of the university's athletic programs.

Inside the nearly square foot MidAmerican Arena, the expo center's 55,000 square foot Great Southern Bank Field is lined for softball and can accommodate a full-size soccer or football field. 

The venue can also host public exhibitions, trade shows, home and garden shows with up to 400 vendor booths, 4H, farm and tractor shows, and large community events. 

The Siouxland Expo Center is located at 550 South Lafayette Street.  It is accessible from Interstate 29, via Exit 147A.
