Morningside got a 6-1 win at no. 2 singles as Lidia Suarez and Emma Dahlhoff collected the win. A forfeit for Faith TenHulzen and Taylor Cole sealed the doubles point for the Mustangs.
In singles play, Emily Clotfelter and Lidia Suarez moved the needle for Morningside, collecting a pair of wins via forfeit. Line Jensen's 6-0, 6-0 win sealed the team win for the home team, but wins for Delfina Stuzynska (6-0, 6-0), Jil Hellerforth (6-4, 6-1), and Annika Meisel (6-0, 6-0) were icing on the cake.
The Mustangs begin their conference season on Friday, playing Concordia at noon at the Mason Family Tennis Complex, weather permitting.
