Harmon scores twice in 5-1 win over Waldorf

FOREST CITY, Iowa – The Morningside University women's soccer team earned a 5-1 win on Wednesday against Waldorf, as it played aggressively at the net.

The Mustangs took 29 shots on the Warriors, while holding the home team to two.

Mia Stoffel scored right away for the Mustangs at the 2-minute, 19-second mark, and Selma Ohlsson had the assist.

Keyera Harmon then scored two goals in the match, one at the 13:29 mark and 40:22. Both goals were unassisted.

In between those two goals, Emma Feigl scored in the 34th minute, and Lisann Evert recorded the assist.

Melissa Tsatiris rounded out the scoring in the 69th minute, and her goal was also unassisted.

Evert and Harmon each took three shots on goal.

Four different goalkeepers saw action, led by Kyla Syverson. She played over 31 minutes in net, followed by Stina Ahlund, Moriah Dixson and Stephanie Chairman.
