SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A goal in the first six minutes of the contest wasn’t enough to give Morningside a crucial women’s soccer win tonight, as Doane battled back to tie the contest 1-1 at the half. Both teams were shutout in the second half, bringing the contest to a draw after the 90th minute.

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A goal in the first six minutes of the contest wasn't enough to give Morningside a crucial women's soccer win tonight, as Doane battled back to tie the contest 1-1 at the half. Both teams were shutout in the second half, bringing the contest to a draw after the 90th minute.
It was Roselynn Bosman that put the Mustangs on the board, connecting on an assist from Emma Feigl with just over five minutes off the clock. The Mustangs would tally 11 shots on goal to the Tigers' six in the contest, but fail to connect on any other attempts.
Isabel Ter Weeme got the start in the net, trading spots with Kyla Syverson at the intermission. The pair combined for five saves.
The Mustangs conclude the month at Hastings, playing the Broncos at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
