Mustangs fall at South Dakota

VERMILLION, S.D. – Morningside women's soccer traveled up Interstate 29 to face NCAA Division I South Dakota Tuesday evening in Vermillion.

Morningside trailed 2-0 at the intermission, but couldn't mount a comeback, falling 7-0. 

The Mustangs got four shots off in the match. Ida Carlsson, Keyera Harmon, Sina Feeser, and Alex McCaulley were each responsible for a shot. In goal, Isabel Ter Weeme recorded seven saves.

Morningside faces another NCAA opponent Friday, as it heads to Marshall, Minn. to face Division II Southwest Minnesota State. The match is set for a 2 p.m. start.
