Mustangs draw with RV Bellevue

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – After a scoreless opening half and a Bellevue goal nearly midway through the second half, a Keyera Harmon goal in the 84th minute was enough for the Mustangs to draw with NAIA Top 25 receiving votes Bellevue Wednesday night at Elwood Olsen Stadium.

Neither side could get any momentum going offensively in the opening half of play, as the heat continued to be a factor. Both teams had six shots in the first half, but no conversions.

Isabel Ter Weeme had eight saves in goal for the Mustangs. Harmon had three shots on goal, including the game-tying shot.

Morningside faces NCAA Division I South Dakota Tuesday night in Vermillion. Game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
