16 women's soccer players named Daktronics Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar Athletes for women's soccer this week, with the honorees being announced ahead of the national championship.

The Mustangs placed 16 women's soccer players on the list of 1,557 total student-athletes. They are Ellie Barber, Roselynn Bosman, Meike Dingenouts, Taylor Garris, Annemiek Goedhart, Jil Hellerforth, Makenzie Hunzeker, Merel Kooij, Lucia Kruize, Megan Messersmith, Lea Okkels, Julie Raffel, Freja Brix Rasmussen, Emily Rotthaler, Victoria Stausholm, and Jolina Stuebner.

In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
