
Mustangs finish 16th in final event of 2022
LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Morningside’s women wrapped up their bowling schedule for 2022 competing in the Collegiate Shoot-Out, a Tier I tournament held each year in Las Vegas. The Mustangs placed 16th in the event, which had 29 teams competing.

The Mustangs totaled 8,146 pins in two days of play, led by Lexis Schroeder, who finished 46th of 206 individual competitors. Schroeder had 1,088 pins, averaging 181.67 across six games.
Carissa Johnson and Morgan Roark followed Schroeder, finishing 48th and 57th. Johnson was 8 pins behind Schroeder at 1,080, with Roark bowling a six-game total of 1,052.
The Mustangs are back in action in the new year, competing in the Midwest Collegiate Classic Jan. 14 and 15.
