DePauw adds another weekly award to the trophy case

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – For the fourth time this season, Jacob DePauw has earned the GPAC Setter of the Week award for his performance last weekend.

DePauw, a junior from South Beloit, Illinois, racked up 143 assists over four matches at the Coyote Classic in Salina. He averaged 10.21 assists per set with 10 kills, nine digs, five blocks, and six service aces.

In the first match of the weekend, DePauw eclipsed 2,000 assists in his career. He is the second Mustang to reach that milestone.He is also closing in on the service aces program record, needing six to set the new program mark. 

The Mustangs play host to No. 9 Jamestown Thursday night at 7 p.m. and Dordt Saturday at 5 p.m.
