Krenz earns Player of the Week nod

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Erik Krenz became the latest Mustang to earn the title of Player of the Week from the Great Plains Athletic Conference, collecting the ninth iteration of the Attacker of the Week award.

Krenz, a freshman from Mankato, Minn., hit .714 for the week, recording three consecutive matches with a hitting percentage of .600 or better.  He recorded 32 kills with just two errors in the week's 42 attempts.

Krenz becomes the third Morningsider to receive a Player of the Week title this year, collecting the fourth honor after Owen Anderson (2), and Jacob Baynes.
