BROOKINGS, S.D. – Blake Brown's first exhibition at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Track and Field Championship concluded in the preliminary heats of the men's 60-meter dash. 

Brown, who hails from Wakefield, Neb., ran a preliminary time of 6.859 seconds in the second heat of the 60-meter dash prelims. His personal best is a Morningside record-holding time of 6.85 seconds.

The Mustangs return to the track on March 28, competing in the two-day Wayne State Wildcat Classic in Wayne, Neb.
