A Dozen Mustangs, Men's Tennis Team, Land on ITA Men's Academic Honors List

TEMPE, ARIZ. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2043 Men's ITA Scholar Athletes and All-Academic Teams today, honoring 12 Mustangs as well as the men's tennis team. 

Individual honorees for Morningside include Abhishek Mohapatra, Alexander Castillo, Ben Zavadil, Chase Carter, Dalton Polesky, Eduard Cardelus, Joao Pedro Pierry Izoldi Costa, Mark Trenkle, Mikhil Raja, Rodrigo Iraheta, Skander Ben Abdallah, and Winyou Asavaruangchai.

The ITA's scholar-athlete program recognizes athletes that appear on the team's eligibility certificate and have a GPA of 3.5 or better. All-Academic teams must have a team GPA of 3.2 or better. 202 men's tennis athletes and 27 teams received their respective distinctions as part of the ITA's program.
