Five Mustangs receive honorable mention distinction

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Great Plains Athletic Conference began announcing honors for its 2022 fall sports seasons today, announcing men's soccer honorees today. While Morningside's season didn't go as hoped, five Mustangs pulled down honorable mention all-conference honors for the year.

Morningside's Bjarne Huth, Jakob Fronmueller, Johannes Lang, Robin Thomala, and Gero Zarbo all received the nod from the league's coaches, acknowledging their play throughout the season. Huth, Fronmueller, and Thomala are all seniors, while Lang and Zarbo are both juniors.

The Mustangs have had 108 athletes receive some level of all-conference recognition since the team joined the GPAC in 2003.
