DAVENPORT, IOWA – Sophomore midfielder/attacker Alyssa Castillo (SO/Grand Island, Neb.) (Grand Island, Neb.) added her name to the history annals Saturday, March 13.

Castillo fired a successful offensive strike past St. Ambrose University goalkeeper Allison Claus with just over 18 minutes left in the second half to guide head coach Caitlyn St. Marie's Morningside College women's team at Saint Vincent's Athletic Complex. The Fighting Bees' run of seven goals in less than eight minutes in the first half of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference clash was the difference in a 23-1 final.

Fellow sophomore midfielder/attacker Lucy Preugschas (SO/Buffalo, Minn.) (Buffalo, Minn.) turned in a team-best three ground balls, and junior midfielder/attacker Ashley Wilcox (JR/Council Bluffs, Iowa) (Council Bluffs, Iowa) captured three draw control wins to add to the Maroon's highlights.

SAU's men kept head coach Jack O'Brien's Mustangs off the scoreboard in a 17-0 outcome. Sophomore midfielder/attacker Brendan Rorabacher (SO/Eagle, Idaho) (Eagle, Idaho) took four attempts at the home team's net, with two being on frame to go along with six ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Jay'Von McKinney (SO/Blue Springs, Mo.) (Blue Springs, Mo.) added two shots and four ground balls.

The two teams continue a weekend conference schedule Sunday, March 14. They face off against Clarke University at Dubuque.
