SIOUX CITY, Iowa — For the second time this academic year, Morningside University men's golf sophomore Ryan Cavanaugh was named Wednesday as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week.

The Reno, Nevada, native placed 12th last week at the Texas Invitational with a 54-hole score of 222. His final round was a 72, good for one-under par.

His performance last week was the fourth time Cavanaugh placed in the Top 15.

Cavanaugh was named GPAC Golfer of the Week in Oct. 2024.
