SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside's Jackson Sitzmann was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference's men's golfer of the week for week five of play this fall. Sitzmann's distinction comes following Morningside's participation in the Holy Cross College Invitational last week.

The Mustangs placed fourth in last week's invitational, recording a two-round total of 630. Sitzmann was the leader for the Mustangs, shooting a 156, which was good enough to tie for 15th place.

Morningside has concluded the fall matches on its schedule, and will resume play in the spring.
