
Philthilath leads Mustangs at Hastings
HASTINGS, NEB. – A strong showing from Nick Philthilath headlined Morningside’s visit to Hastings College and the Bronco Open, as the senior took the individual title in the event and led the Mustangs to a fifth place finish.

Philthilath recorded a total of 1,123 pins in his championship run, averaging 224.6 pins per game on the day. Hunter Noteboom placed seventh with a total of 1,081 pins. Seth Nelson rolled a five-game total of 983 for 23rd place and Christian Schmadeke recorded a 964 for 28th.
The Mustangs head to Rockford, Ill., on Saturday to compete in the two-day Leatherneck Classic.
