
Five land on GPAC men's basketball all-conference list
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Joey Skoff headlined Morningside's all-conference selections, which were announced by the Great Plains Athletic Conference today. Skoff's first team selection was joined by Brendan Buckley and Aidan Vanderloo's placement on the second team and honorable mention nods for Justin Sitti and Daniel Brocaille.
Skoff averaged 22.1 points per game on his way to becoming Morningside's career-leading scorer at 2,274 points, hitting 53.8 percent of his shots from the floor. The senior, from Omaha, Neb., tallied 2.6 assists per game, 1.8 steals per game, and 4.3 rebounds per contest.
Vanderloo, also a senior, notched 12.7 points per game at 51.5 percent, paired with a team-leading 90.6 percent from the free throw line. The guard from Sioux City added 1.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
Buckley, a senior who also calls Omaha home, averaged 7.2 rebounds per game, with 5.7 on the offensive glass, and 4.0 assists per contest and 11.2 points per game.
Sitti, also a senior guard hailing from the same Omaha high school as Buckley, had 10.9 points per game, 1.5 steals, 3.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Brocaille, a junior from Papillion, Neb., had 12.7 points per game this season, 1.5 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game.
