SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Morningside University senior men's basketball guard Joey Skoff on Wednesday earned the first Great Plains Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

This year, the GPAC will recognize an offensive and a defensive player.

Skoff totaled 48 points in wins over Coe College and Viterbo University last week in Dubuque. Twenty-eight of those came in Saturday's win over the V-Hawks, where the Omaha native was 10-for-20 from the floor.

Skoff shot 58 percent in the two games, and made all his free throw attempts. He also had seven assists.
