Twenty-one football players named to NAIA Daktronics scholar-athlete list
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for football, releasing this year's list ahead alongside the other fall sports.
Morningside had 21 athletes named to this year's list, Kale Bird, Greg Clark, Lennx Brown, Darien Rabe, Fred Lageschulte, Evan Kruger, Dylan Hosek, Isaac Conner, Nick Colvert, Ryan Cole, Dallas Kluender, Kelynn Jacobsen, Hayden Thilges, Brady Schlaeger, Isaac Pingel, Cash Parker, Jakob Nelson, Luke Myers, Eli Murray, Mason Limbach, and Reece Spieler.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
